Indian Design ID 2017– My first visit

Hey lovelies,

Last week has been super cool for me. Apart from attending a day wedding function in my family, I also visited India Design ID 2017 .YES, I am so glad that I was invited for this one. For a fashion and lifestyle blogger like me, it was a breeze of fresh air and I loved the fragrance of it.

This was actually the 5th season of India Design Id 2017 and it took place at NSIC Ground, Okhla. I have visited this venue many times before so I knew It’s really big. Well, I decided to skip my heels this time and wore such comfy shoes that I could actually go to every nook and corner of the Exhibition. Yayyyyy !!!

It was such exhilarating experience as India’s Definitive Design Week celebrated designers and creativity from diverse disciplines in designing – Interiors, Product Design, Architecture and Installations. Best of the brands from the across the country and from international market showcased their finest collection. Brands like Arttd’inox, Apartment9, Antonio Lupi, Beyond Designs, K2India, Roca, BoConcept, Sarita Handa, The Pure Concept and Rational Kitchens by CJ Living unveiled their latest collections.

In fact there were a series of relationship building session wherein speakers from different path of life engaged with the visitors. Alberto Alessi, Humberto Campana, Sou Fujimoto, Ashiesh Shah, Sanjay Puri, Alberto Meda, Li Edelkoort to name a few. These are the names to reckon with in the Design Community.

I clicked some really cool pictures at this 4 day event which saw around 40,000 visitors. Honestly, the creativity around me in these pictures are so mesmerizing that you might not even notice me. LOL

Also, i got to mention that there was this really cool lounge called NO-MAD Cafe by The park. They have especially curated this property for Indian Design ID 2017. They cafe was kept as organic as possible and you could see all the green veggies and fruits lying right in front of you. Of course, I ordered my favorite mix Vegetable juice and  it was quiet yum and thick. In the main course, I had vegetarian green Thai curry with rice. The rice was nicely cooked but the Thai curry had little too strong flavor for my liking 🙁
